My coaching services focus on meditation, movement, health, and lifestyle management to help people live the best lives they possibly can.
What happens when you combine the discipline of a Marine, the knowledge of a personal trainer, the lifelong drive of a martial artist, and the quiet, calm presence of a monk?
Me.
I’ve spent decades learning how to steady the mind and strengthen the body—not just for myself, but to help others do the same. Nothing brings me more joy than watching someone's eyes light up when they discover things about themselves they hadn't noticed before.
My mission in life is simple: I help people. And I mainly help people by showing them how to build bodies that feel good to live in, and minds that can stay calm and focused when life gets hard. I teach people how to pay attention, to really listen inward, and to trust what they sense—so they can care for themselves better and move through the world with more confidence and determination. When you feel good, you do good. And when you do good, that goodness spreads. If I can spark even a single person’s transformation, then I’ve already done what I came here to do.

Services
At Re/zalv/, everything comes full circle. My job isn't to hand you a list of exercises, mindfulness tricks and then collect a pay check. Not at all. I stay with you every step of the way, helping you to radically rewire how you live, think, and move. Every program, every session from me is custom-built, based on your feedback, and your progress. I use a number of formats and mechanisms to deliver my services, each one dependent on the client's needs.

Short or Long-Term Commitments:Just looking for an occasional check in or session to get your juices flowing again? Let's go. Or maybe you'd like someone to accompany you a bit further on your journey. Either way, I've got you covered.

Virtual or In-Person Training: Based on availability. If you're within 25 km of Bridgewater NS, I can come to you or you to me. Living in another timezone, country or location? Virtual training sessions are also an option.

Personalized Design: Every plan is built from the ground up, based on your feedback, your progress, and your goals. You can easily get a lifetime's worth of programs using AI, but it will be hard pressed to deliver to you the sublte nuances that only a dedicated human can.

Ongoing Support: I offer weekly or bi-weekly calls (phone or video), assignments, and checklists to keep you moving forward.

Flexible Frequency: Everything is adjusted to your needs, but I will not hand-hold. You’ll get guidance, not excuses.

Wellness Check-Ins: My check-ins aren't about hitting macros and micros. It's about learning to sense your own rhythms, and provide you with an avenue for self-reflection. I use that data to track your overall 'wellness' pattern over time, seeing where you're consistently performing well, as well as falling a bit short.

Workouts: Here I program your workouts for you. Here's where I'm different, I video your videos personally for you, explaining to you not what I want you to do, but how I want you to do it.

Attention Training Exercises: Want to increase your cardiovascular capabilities without moving a muscle (other than your lungs)? Need something visual or auditory to help you focus? Are you feeling agitated, nervous or excited and looking for a way to find a bit of peace? My app features a number of breathing exercises and meditations for your wellness needs.

Courses: I have a lot to give, and realize that I can, and will never be able to cover all of it in a single (or many!!) sessions. So, I've created courses based on the fundamental concepts that I know and love.

Who Am I?
I’ve spent the last 23 years immersed in the world of strength, movement, and discipline. My first taste of real training came at 16, and I haven’t stepped away since. By 21, I was in the U.S. Marines, wearing the stripes of a Sergeant and learning what it means to lead others . I had the honour of protecting a president at Camp David, as well as being an infantry squad leader. I served 2 deployments.


8 solid years of service was enough, and so I headed to Canada. Here I deepened my studies with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. Since 2012, I've been a bouncer, a carpenter, and off-gridder, a father. But my passion has always returned me to working professionally as a fitness, lifestyle and health coach. No matter where I go, I find myself helping people build bodies that can carry them through the hard days, not just look good in a mirror.




Martial arts have been part of my DNA for as long as I can remember. I earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 15, and have been training and teaching various martial arts ever since. I teach a blended system, not bound by any system, but instead, like all of my practices, taking the essence from each one, and then giving my students or clients the ability to focus on which style appeals to them the most.
While being an devoted Martial Artist, I absolutely detest violence. I teach, and train in the Arts, not for the sake of hurting another person, but for the beauty and embodiment of the movements. Second to that, to be able to defend oneself or another from harm is something I see as an absolute necessity in today's world. Wanna learn?




For the past 13 years, I’ve been equally devoted to meditation and awareness training. This path, while self-guided has given me a wealth of perspectives from which to view the topics I'm passionate in. Not bound by any one system, I take the best of what's worked for myself and my clients. I have always cherished direct experience above dogma, and every insight I share comes from years of experimenting, observing, and applying these practices in the real world.
When you work with me, you don’t get cookie-cutter routines or one-size-fits-all advice. You get a lifetime of training distilled into something personal, practical, and alive. My goal is simple: to help you know yourself — body, mind, and spirit — and then to grow yourself, in all ways.

Pricing
I offer reasonable to flexible rates depending on the financial situations of my clients. In short, I work by a sliding scale pay system.
"But Darryl!" you'll say; "You can't possibly run a business like that!"
But I do.
I never, ever want price to be a barrier to health and well-being. We're all human on this little planet of ours I will always be open to helping any and all who request my services. Price need not be a barrier to you getting better.

Pre-Qualification — Read This Before You Apply
My style of coaching, my programs, aren't for everyone; and I fully understand that. That being said:
I do not hand-hold.
I don’t do half-measures.
If you work with me, you need to commit to showing up even when it’s inconvenient.

You must be ready to take full responsibility for your body, your mind, and your habits: We don't use shame, we don't use judgment, simply clear observation, acceptance, and a desire to do better next time.

You must be willing to do the assignments and check-ins, even when life gets busy: I can't help you if you don't keep me informed. 2 way streets work best when both lanes are open.

You must be open to honest feedback and willing to act on it: All of the books, seminars, courses and coaches are worthless if you don't apply what you've learned to your lived experience.
If you’re looking for a quick fix, an easy hack, or someone to drag you along—I'm not the guy for you.
But if you’re ready to step up, take ownership of your life, and fundamentally alter how you see yourself. I’ll meet you at 100% plus some.
